Confirmation CArds

I really have to stop making cards in a mad rush.  First is a Confirmation girl card, stamped with Hero Arts Blossom Art flower and Papermania capsule ink, the sentiment is an outline sticker as is the image which I put on Papermania cardstock and fussy cut.  The dove was a free clipart. The vellum flower is an idea stolen from Edna's gorgeous blog, inked with the same capsule ink.

The Boy Confirmation was made with a Tim Holtz embossing folder and Hero Arts Pool ink for faux letterpress, Hero Arts script stamp silver embossed onto white card and edge distressed, an outline sticker sentiment.

Two lovely creative ladies have sent me awards this week.  Now I am a dead loss at getting around to fulfilling the conditions for these awards but I will try after I get through the birthday, confirmation and mother's day cards!!

Cliona Larkin is a docrafts demonstrator, has written for Creativity magazine and having seen her demonstrate I can tell you she is a very enthusiastic and creative crafter.  Click here to visit her blog and while you're there check out her fab tutorials especially if you're short of mojo today!

Mens Cards

Sorry about the poor quality photo.  I had to make this in a hurry this evening so couldn't take a picture in daylight.

I used a Tim Holtz mask and Iced Spruce DI, Sizzix Gadget Gears die also inked with Iced Spruce and clear embossed, Tim Holtz Vintage Market alpha die and the gorgous new Waltzingmouse Stamps Heirloom Patterns stamp in Houndstooth check.  I always find men's cards tricky and left this card till the last possible moment which means rushing!
