Rockin Robin

Some more fun paper piecing a new Papermania Urban Stamp and Christmas paper pack.  I added some faux stitching around the circle, some red gems and a LOTV sentiment, then I used some enamel accents in black to give him a beady eye!

It's good to have some Christmas cards done!

No Flowers at ABC Challenges

This week at ABC Challenges we want to see your cards without flowers!

I used a new Papermania Christmas paper pack plus a little die cut set from the same range, just adding a little white lace and some red pearls.

If you can bear to keep the flowers off your card for a week show us what you've made over at ABC Challenges

Favourite Things at Crafty Bloggers Network

There's still time to enter the current challenge 'Favourite Things' at Crafty Bloggers Network and the prize is a Sarah Hurley digi kit, 'Bookworm', which I've used in this card.

As one of my favourite things is office supplies, I used the library card digi stamped with a Hero Arts sentiment and made a paper clip embellishment.  I printed off some of the papers from the kit and used flower punches to create embellishments.

I will be back shortly with another card, after a dash to the school book suppliers!

Lots of Layers at ABC Challenges

Morning! This week at ABC Challenges we want to see lots of layers - at least 5!

I used a lovely paper pack from Raspberry Road that came free with Quick Cards magazine, matted onto some red card.  The Magnolia stamp is coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noirs and the sentiment is LOTV.  The white lace and cream jute are from The Ribbon Girl and the lattice embossing folder is Modern Wallpaper from Cuttlebug.

I'd like to enter this into:

Stamps, Paper, Ink at ABC Challenges

I'm a wee bit late with this post, sorry! There's always tons of stuff to sort when you get back from a holiday.

ABC's challenge this week is SIP - Stamps, Ink, Paper - taking it back to basics, but you can use paptterned paper too, as I did.  Using Broken China distress ink, I stamped the Flowersoft stamp and used Spellbinders dies to frame, using another Spellbinders die for the Hero Arts sentiment, inking with the same distress ink while the card was still in the die.  Fast and easy! Join in the fun this week at ABC Challenges!

Monochramatic Challenge at ABC Challenges

This week's challenge at ABC Challenges is an easy one - monochromatic cards.

I chose a greeny-blue and made a Christmas card.  I used Waltzingmouse Stamps - love their Nordic stamps! - and an absolute favourite Distress Ink, Evergreen Bough.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug and the ribbon and pearls from The Ribbon Girl.  The green mat was made by inking some card with Evergreen Bough.

Why not make a card in shades of your favourite colour and enter the challenge this week at ABC Challenges.

P.S. Sorry if I don't get around your blogs this week.  I am on holiday and just logged on to publish these draft posts.  It's pretty weird looking at a Christmas card in this heat, and they tell me tomorrow's temperatures are 42-45.  I'm almost missing the Irish rain.  I said almost!!  Ger x

Time Flies

This card is made with the other Craftwork Cards pack I bought in Crafty Angels, it's called Time Flies.  The pack contains beautiful papers, die cut flowers, butterflies and bows, as well as card candi.  I added some pearls, a Marianne Designs die cut and inked everything with some lilac ink.
