Bon Voyage
Morning! Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday and the Olympics.
Still playing with SSS August Card Kit . I stamped the sun from the clear stamp set onto the pink card stock, drew a little cloud on one of the patterned papers and cut it out adding some white gel pen stitching, added some more patterned paper and the gorgeous little wood bicycle then used the Basic Grey white alphabet stickers to make the sentiment.
Check out what others are making with this kit.

August again
Had some more fun with the SSS August Card Kit. This is quite a small card, 7cm wide x 10 cm tall. Using card from the kit I cut the tri-fold shape and added papers, felt flowers and the ric rac ribbon. The stamp is from the clear set in the kit, white embossed, and the white letters are Basic Grey. All from the kit!
I added a paper clip, white gel pen and used green card from the kit to punch the file tab using a McGill punch.

August Card Kit
Morning! The August card kit has arrived from Simon Says Stamp so I made this card. I learned how to make the paper flower at Clean and Simple Online Card Class and I clear embossed one of the felt flowers in the kit and added it to the centre. I love the chevron stamp in the clear stamp set, so useful!
The only things I needed to add to the kit to make this card were embossing powders and a white gel pen.

Nothing but Blue Skies
Made this for neighbours who are relocating to Florida, leaving us with all this soft Irish weather. Do you think they'll miss the rain?!
Used the SSS May Card Kit.

A Blog Named Hero Flickr Group Mojo Week 2
I made this card for the A Blog Named Hero Flickr Group Mojo Challenge Week 2. The challenge was to use the colours Teal, Grey and Yellow so I used Hero Arts Script Stamp white embossed, then used Distress Inks Evergreen Bough, Mustard Seed and Pumice Stone with pearly water in a method demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire in the Clean and Simple Online Card Class. The Hero Arts background was stamped with Mustard Seed and the sentiment stamped in Evergreen Bough.
The effect is very pearly but doesn't show up in the pic.

90 minute scramble
I'm hosting the 90 minute scramble at Hero Arts this evening. The theme is Encouragement Cards and the technique is masking.
I used a Spellbinders die to cut a mask through which I inked using Summer Distress Inks then using the green from the same set I stamped Delicate Leaf Clusters and a sentiment from the Find Joy set.

Balloon Birthday
Hi all, I've been MIA for a while due to a nasty throat infection. All better now though!
I made this card using the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit. They really are fabulous little kits, I love creating with them.
Have any of you participated in Hero Arts 90 Minute Scrambles? I'm hosting tonight's one at 8 p.m., I hope some of you will join in!
Thanks for visiting.
