Inspiration Monday at Crafty Bloggers Network
It's Inspiration Monday at Crafty Bloggers Network and there's still time to enter a birthday card for a chance to win a bag of goodies from Mulberry Crafts.
I chose a Waltzingmouse Stamps image watercoloured with Inktense pencils, some Echo Park papers and some trims. The sentiment is computer generated and I made a label by biting out the corners of the sentiment strip with a 1" circle punch.
It's a dark, wet and stormy Monday morning here but I'm not going to look out the window! Stay cosy where you are. Ger x

Inspiration Monday at Crafty Bloggers Network
There's still time to enter the current challenge at Crafty Bloggers Network. The theme is Flowers and there's a lovely bag of goodies to be won from our sponsors, Mulberry Crafts.
I stamped a Flowersoft Moments in Time image with Worn Lipstick distress ink and used a paintbrush and water to shade here and there. I used the same ink to distress around the image while the card was still in a Spellbinders Labels 18 die.
The papers are Pink Paislee and the cardstock is Bazzill. Flowers and ribbon from Mulberry Crafts, pearls from stash.
We still don't have any snow although they keep forecasting the stuff!

Simon Says Washi
The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is to use Washi tape. I've got about 3 rolls of the stuff but I don't think I've used it before now!
I decided to make a pleated flower with this gorgeous film strip Washi. It pleats very well and plays nicely but I used a glue gun to secure the whole thing on the card. The cardstock, papers and other elements are from September Simon Says Stamp card kit.

Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge - Flowers
Good morning! This month's challenge at Crafty Bloggers Network is Flowers and we are sponsored by Mulberry Crafts who are offering a big bag of goodies for the winner!
I've used some of their flowers, leaves and ribbon on my card. When I was arranging the little flowers I thought of all the cards I've seen where people add twirly stems to their arrangements and wished I had some till I had a lightbulb moment, took one of the stems I had snipped off the flowers and twirled them around a thin paintbrush handle. You've probably all known this forever! I ruffled the pretty pink ribbon down the sides of the journalling card. The cute kitten image is from Wee Stamps and I coloured with Inktense pencils and water.
Sorry I haven't been round your blogs as I had the dreaded 'flu since a couple of days after Christmas and I'm still not quite right.
Thanks for visiting! Ger x
