I've really enjoyed the
Clean and Simple Card Classes but this is the first card I've had a chance to make! This card was about making simple embellishments.
Hero Arts Envelope background stamped in Soft Sand, Hero Arts flower inked and coloured with Papermania brush marker, Jillybean Soup brown Baker's Twine, Papermania sentiment stamped with Hero Arts Latte, Neenah White Cardstock. Circle aperture cut with Martha Stewart circle scissors (after much mangled paper and card, finally getting the hang of that gadget. Top tip: use on a glass cutting mat), corner punch.

A glass mats is an essential piece of kit as far as I am concerned.. it acts as a superb cutting surface, a palette, a measure, a perfectly flat surface for stamping on.... I could go on. I see you realised the value of one when cutting out your circle! I work on mine ALL the time.
ReplyDeleteAfter all that, this is a really pretty card, I love that background stamp too.
Thanks so much
Chrissie
