ABC Challenges - All Stitiched Up

The challenge this week at ABC Challenges is to use stitching on your card - faux or real.

My sewing machine is on a high shelf and I can't stitch that straight anyway, so out came the white gel pen!  I used a Hero Arts stamp, white embossed onto Kraft card, then painted with Inktense Watercolour Pencils.  The pearls are from The Ribbon Girl, the sentiment is Jillibean Soup and the paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Have a look at the design team cards and get out the sewing machine (or pen!) We'd love to see your cards over at ABC Challenges. Ger x

ABC Challenges - Inspiration Card

Did you all have a lovely day yesterday?

Just a reminder that there's still time to enter your Red, Pink and White or Cream cards over at ABC Challenges!

Our Guest Designer, Eileen, has made a stunning inspiration card for this week's challenge.

I used Papermania pink and red cardstock, Hero Arts stamps and butterfly die, a Tim Holtz styled labels die and a computer generated sentiment.  The butterfly was coloured with Festive Berries distress ink and water. The ribbon and sparkly bead string (on the butterfly) are from The Ribbon Girl.

ABC Challenge - Red, Pink, White

Morning! This week's challenge at ABC Challenges is to create a card using Red, Pink and White or Cream. Lovely colours!

I used a Spellbinders die cut for my background and a set of heart shaped cookie cutters to draw around and cut out my hearts.  The pearls are all from The Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is computer generated.  The cardstock is from Papermania.

Make a card using these lovely romantic colours, surprise someone you love with it, and enter it in ABC Challenges this week.

Thanks for visiting! Ger x
