Poppy Card and Candle Gift Set

 

 

Our Wednesday evening craft group started by the lovely Áine is going strong, crafting and great craic with lovely crafty people!  I had fun with candles and tissue paper, I gold embossed this Hero Arts poppy stamp onto white tissue paper before colouring with Copics, then melting onto the candle.  I stamped a card to match.

Kids cards at ABC Challenges

Over at ABC Challenges we are making cards for children.  I chose Papermania's Tilly Daydreams A4 paper pack, with its cute decoupage and pretty embellishments I thought it would be perfect for a child's card.  Sorry about the terrible photo, the light is dire here this morning!

Anything Goes at Crafty Bloggers Network

Yup, it's Anything Goes this month at Crafty Bloggers Network so let's see your cards!

Our sponsor is the fabulous Rick St Dennis and I chose this image, North Pole, colouring it lightly with Antique Linen and Broken China distress inks and water.  I used Basic Grey Aspen Frost papers and tree and snowflake die cuts.  The little tree was cut from double sided sticky backed paper, I poured glitter over it before peeling off the backing and sticking it down.  The flower ribbon and pearls are from The Ribbon Girl.

Patterned Papers at ABC Challenges

Morning! Time for another challenge at ABC Challenges and this week we want to see 3 or more patterned papers.

My papers are from Basic Grey - Aspen Frost and the image and sentiment are LOTV.  I added Liquid Pearls and some ribbon and pearls from The Ribbon Girl.  I coloured the image with Copics and Spectrum Noirs.

This week it's a Tic Tac Toe Challenge at ABC Challenges, and I chose Birthday - Ribbon - Use a Punch, and I borrowed a sketch from Pinterest.

The papers are My Mind's Eye - Remarkable.  The sentiment is Hero Arts, ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and toothpicks from the kitchen ;)

Fall Cards at ABC Challenges

This week at ABC Challenges we want to see Fall cards - I chose Fall colours for my card.  The Magnolia image was coloured with Spectrum Noirs and Copics, I edged the embossing with Tea Dye DI and used various dies and Basic Grey Carte Postale papers.  The hemp twine and hessian mesh are from The Ribbon Girl.
