Celebrate the Season

Yesterday's clear out unearthed a roll of Micropore or whatever it's called.  I saw it in the chemist's while waiting on a prescription months ago, decided it looked like sticky back canvas and brought it home to bury it deep in my crafty stash.

This morning I stamped Waltzingmouse Stamps Nordic Winter onto it and I thought the texture of the tape brought out the stitch-like quality of the stamps.  So I stuck it down the side of the card. I used the little trees from the set to represent leaves. Sort of. I added glossy accents to give them some shine.

I'd like to enter this into:

Sentimental Sundays 3-2-1  - 3 pearls, 2 leaves, 1 strip of Micropore tape

Thanks for visiting! Ger x.

  2. Oh gorgeous, Ger! I just love how you used the little Nordic trees as holly leaves! The background is as cozy as can be, and stamped perfectly! You used my favorite color combination, TOO! It's so amazing on this Christmas card!
